If you aren't familiar with overnight oats here is a quick overview as to what they are. Instead of cooking your oats with liquid on the stove or in the microwave, you mix rolled (AKA: old-fashioned) oats with the liquid and other mix-ins, and let it rest in the fridge overnight. In the morning, you have a delicious pudding-like porridge that is perfect for easy grab-and-go breakfasts. It doesn’t have the same texture as hot/stove-top oats. It’s creamier, denser, and a whole lot better! Here are three different varieties, but the options are endless! This is the website where you can find all 20 different recipes.   Peanut Butter Banana pb-banana-overnight-oats-680x1020 Ingredients: 1 cup rolled oats 2 tablespoon chia seeds ¼ cup natural peanut butter 1-2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup) pinch of salt 1.5 cups (almond or coconut) milk Toppings: banana slices crushed peanuts melted peanut butter for drizzling Instructions: -In a sealable container (like a mason jar) combine oats, chia, peanut butter, honey and salt. Add milk and stir or shake well. -Place in the fridge overnight (will last for up to 5 days). -For servings, warm if desired, and top with banana slices, peanuts and a peanut butter drizzle     Almond Joy almond-joy-overnight-oats-5 Ingredients: ½ cup whole rolled oats ¾ unsweetened almond milk 1 Tbsp maple syrup ½ Tbsp ground flaxseed 2 Tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut ½ Tbsp mini chocolate chips handful of slivered almonds Instructions: -Combine all ingredients in a glass jar. -Stir until well combined. -Refrigerate overnight, and enjoy cold.         Strawberry Chia  strawberry-chia-overnight-oats-6084 Ingredients: ½ cup old fashioned oats ½ cup milk ¼ cup Greek yogurt 1 teaspoon pure maple syrup ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract 1 ½ teaspoons chia seeds ¼ cup sliced strawberries Instructions: -Place all ingredients except for the strawberries in a mason jar or bowl. Cover tightly with lid and shake to combine (or stir). -Refrigerate overnight. -When ready to serve, stir, and then top with sliced strawberries. Overnight oats are often eaten cold, but if desired you may warm them in the microwave.
